B-14 Belgian Ale

A very popular Abbey strain from a monastary in Belgium. This Belgian ale yeast produces a distinct, ripe fruitiness, with some bubble gum-like esters. Ester production can be subdued with lower fermentation temperatures. High alcohol tolerance and ester production make this a top choice for Belgian dubbel, tripel, and quad ales.
